@enyands, This is a share on OTC trading and you can't get (no need for) daily updates. You already know the share is sold through Genghis or S...!

The merger was approved last Friday at the AGM and they are currently integrating their systems

Dominic Kiarie has been edged out after restructuring of the merged unit.He tendered his resignation.
The minority investors who bought during shares during rights issue may be bought out by old mutual.
A merger of the two business in place and shareholders in UAP will be offered stakes in the merged business (i.e Joe Wanjui,James Muguiyi etc).
The two entities will be combined and the combined value would be around sh.80bn really ??????
The combined business unit will list in the NSE in the next 18 to 30 months, conditional on a favourable market.
Old Mutual executives said the merged entity will have Mr Mwangi at the helm, with general managers, including
Banking,
Asset management
Insurance,
to be appointed for the respective business lines

Has the company now overtaken Britam and Jubilee to be the king?
Only time will tell

UAP plans NSE listing after brand consolidation

UAP-Old Mutual Group plans to list at the Nairobi Securities Exchange "over the next 18 to 30 months" after it completes its brand consolidation.

This is after South Africa-based financial services provider Old Mutual completed acquisition of majority stake in Kenyan firm UAP Group last month, raising its share to 60.7 per cent from the 23.3 per cent bought in January.

Nothing out of the ordinary is to be transacted save for appointment of KPMG as auditors in the place of PWC.

@BGL i now confirm your line of investment..UAP...UNAITAS...SIC...STIMA...FAMILY BNK...

Having a percentage of unlisted portfolio can act as a cushion against the vicious BEAR ATTACK currently on rampage at the NSE.
