Did anybody watch England V Egypt last night? Those Valencia crosses from the right were clearly lacking and Rooney was largely anonymous. Reason: The crosses from the right were expected to come from Walcott who as usual could not beat the rival left back. Poor Walcott.

Walcott had a poor game, Phillips did much better and this game might just have cost him his world cup place!!!!

@ bkismat.....This is not negativity its simply a statement of facts: Had written about walcott before the match and his performance on the night vindicated me.

You can't fault Walcott for his lack of form. The lad ain't out of injury a 100% and neither has he played a full game in a long time even at club level.....Just to remind you what he is capable of,you need to watch his performance when England played Croatia last in Zaghreb......But i doubt you will do that by virtual of being the devil's advocate...Brick wall !

Those three goals he scored on that day remain the only plus in his long career.

Read Chris Waddle's comments about walcott on tribalfootball.com and give us your comments. According to the respected Waddle, the boy has no footballing brain and he has stopped developing. What else can be said? This Waddle man i think is a wazuarian and he must have copied my earlier post.

Pliz dont be shy to share.

Walcott needs more games. At the time of the Croatia game, he had had a run in the arsenal team. Now he's only coming back from injury.

Here is arseblog's (biased of course) assessment of Chris Waddle:

This is a man who, instead of scoring a penalty, thought it would be a good idea to kick the ball out of the ground in a World Cup semi-final. This is a regular TV pundit who says 'pelanty' instead of 'penalty'. He is no position to make judgements on other people's brains

(I've left out some harsher language)

On another note... anyone tracking Mariga's progress @ Inter.

Against Udinese, I'm told he did well - that was his first start for Inter-, though Mourinho apparently thinks he's more suited to the English league.

@ Tuvok...........Thanx for taking trouble to read through Chris Waddle's comments on the brainless(footballwise) lad.

@ Bkismat, @Njung'e......your comments will also be in order.

At least am vindicated by Chris Waddle on my post on Walcott. Interesting how people watch soccer without seeing some obvious shortcomings in players of their favourite clubs.

And for those who think the lad's lack of form is due to his comeback from an injury, are they also forgetting that both Nani and Fabregas were injured the other day and came back from injury stronger?

"Wayne Rooney, spoken of during the week as one of the two or three best players in the world, produced what may have been his worst 45 minutes of football since turning professional, giving the ball away with what should have been straightforward passes on several occasions, "

Did Rooney play any better. You can read the article and come up with a dozen different interpretations. All goals don't have to come fro the crosses on the right wing. who was in the left wing and what of the central midfielders?

post no122 is mine but check post no 134. there are central midfielders and also left wingers in the team. it was not wholly walcot's job to feed the ball to rooney.

@Bkismat,
And by tapping his wrist,Walcott was simply telling his idiota critics,"THE TIME IS NOW!!!".Applause .....I loved that.I hope that big mouthed air-head named WaddleBrick wall will shut up.

And Man U without Rooney Against AC in the return leg??.
