The Mombasa ferry one makes sense this by Kaydero doesn't, by the way I noted that since he came in to power Nairobi CBD is very dusty.

Even in mombasa I don't think this is a good idea. Build a bridge of some sort and it will be easier for people to go back and forth. I am sure there is a chinese company that can sort y'all out with that.

1. In a city that has electricity issues? Can you imagine being stuck in that thing high up in the air on a hot day? Disaster!!!

2. Is Nairobi on a hill or something or how are these cable cars supposed to work?

It's about 1yr since i last had a power outage. Also they will have backup generators just in case power ever goes off.

The line will be suspended on giant pillars, height like the mulika mwizi poles.

Imagine Kenyans reaction if this were to happen.
Can't we deal with stuff our size because we will implement things that we won't manage so why waste.
Some fellows will fix wheels on these cars and convert them into tuktuks.
Power outages/diesel shortage/theft ndogo ndogo/ argh too much mess here.

On this one I'm a bit confused.

My gut tells me this is another Mumias in the making, but on the other hand, the traffic in Nairobi is driving me nuts.

I had 3 meetings today. Westlands, Upperhill, Ngara in that order. Then of course go home. As a person poorer than Jaggernaut, I was using public transport.

Ohhh boy.

Something has to be done. Something, anything. Just anything.

At this rate, with VAT, traffic etc, let them bring the chariots of Elijah too. Otherwise, can't even imagine otherwise.

You did not consider boda boda?

or Tuktuk?

or walking?
If Obiero did it, Who Am I?

For heaven's sake this is a private individual who has come up with the idea to help solve your transport problems. And when he puts his cable cars in place you can choose whether to board them or not. So let him implement his project. And if things dont work it's him who will lose money, not we the tax payers. At least he's trying to help you by dreaming big and at the same time trying to move you into the first world. This thing is his problem and we aren't qualified to comment on it since we wont be contributing even a single cent to his project.

If some backwater 3rd world countries such as Bolivia and Venezuela have successfully done it why can't we? Wachana na the inferiority complex. Also the developer isn't asking even a single coin from you for his project. Let him do his thing.
