I went over the weekend to check out a plot at Kabati,Off Thika Road.Kabati is about 60km from CBD. The Plot is 12km away from Thika (Blue Post) and around 500m from Thika Road.My observation was that very few people are developing their land over there. The area is avast with farming and there are no signs for development in the near future. The size of the plot(i literally measured) is 60ft by 120 ft.The owner of the plot is selling at 0.5m which i strongly feel is a very high price, wazuerians what value would you place for that piece of land

Is this the Thuo Investments project?
Nothing is real unless it can be named; nothing has value unless it can be sold; money is worthless unless you spend it.

@Mukiha..what do you think about the Thuo Investment project??...is it winking at a lady in the dark???

landless is being developed at an alarming rate!! soon it might be a stone throw away.

The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.

0.5M seems a little much for anything 20 miles from thika. You can get 50 x 100 plots for the same price in Kasarani.

@Ric tell us about this thuo's investment project.

Kabati is shunned because of high crime rate. Even .5m is way too high. It should be less than .25. For kasarani, may be our friend meant those sides of mwiki where prices are even lower but that's mungiki's regional office-

@ kadonje , trump, mwala. Kourage is correct, I meant mwiki and not Kasarani.
The Kabati place would be a no deal for me

The lands in ruai are very cheap. You can get 1/2 arce btwn 350k-600k.But the hectic thing is that this lands don't have title deeds. They have certificates which hata zenyewe kupewa utazungushwa mpaka uchoke.I bought one last year January hata wa leo sijapata certificate.

I have a 40 x 80 plot in Utawala a few meters past Highway School selling at only 380k with a share certificate or you can opt for a 80 x 80 plot in Ruiru approx 5km from the Thika highway at only 320k with share certificate as well, if interested, contact me on mwaiben@gmail.com
