A British citizen is among 11 al Shabaab
militants killed by Kenya Defence Forces on
Sunday in Lamu county.
The man identified as Thomas Evans is
believed to have converted to Islam while
he was 19 years old.
According to British newspapers, Evans aka
AbdulHamid joined al Shabaab in 2012 and
hails from High Wycombe in the United
Kingdom.
On Sunday, Inspector General of Police
Joseph Boinett said two white terrorists
were among 11 al Shabaab militants killed
in Lamu.

During the mpeketoni attacks, survivors said the killers were led by a muzungu, who was also the one carrying out the beheadings. Could this be that muzungu?
