These include Bomet, Elgeyo Marakwet and Kisii. Others are Migori, Nairobi, Kiambu, Trans Nzoia, Laikipia, Kericho, Kilifi, Marsabit and Tharaka Nithi.“ Bomet is paying their locals at Job Group Q and non-locals at Job Group M for the same work, same qualification, same time,” he added.
Many other counties including Kirinyaga, Nyeri, Kisumu, Homa Bay, Bungoma, Nakuru, Makueni and Wajir accepted doctors from other regions but had not paid them their April and May salaries.
the others can use tribe and to some extent names to discriminate lakini sasa how does nairobi and nakuru tell the origin of the doctors. The recently conducted Biometric exercise captured those details. Life is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

Doctors should have ensured they remained under national govt just like teachers. How do you spend yrs in medical school then end up being at the mercy of some illiterate kanjoras huko machinani? Sad!
Meanwhile, the woes continue: http://www.nation.co.ke/.../-/21gx3uz/-/index.html
Why the hell would one delay someones salary? Seriously do these idiots know the doctors/nurses have bills to pay? Rent, school fees, kplc, water, loans etc? In my honest opinion, health should go back to national govt We mustn't entrust the health of a nation to some illiterate kanjoras at the counties.

Eeh, mboss, this has been happening with amazing regularity especially since last year. Sometimes they delay the whole salary, other times wanalipwa nusu nusu. However, the mess never gets into mainstream media because our favorite governor(s) have perfected the art of bribing journalists to avoid adverse publicity. No wonder teachers refused to be devolved. Doctors did resist but they have a weak union (i hear their leaders were also compromised). Something needs to be done asap.
