Ruto and Kamwana have been in the opposition. When UK was in the opposition, he never acted as an opposition leader. The main job of an opposition party is to keep the ruling party in check. UK did no such thing. In essence, between 2002 and 2013, Kenya had no opposition party. I think they did their work. They acted as whistle blowers on Anglo leasing(Maoka was kanu mp) plus, opposed and beat govt in plebiscite and many others despite being a very weak opposition numerically in bunge where they had 67 seats only

The job of an opposition party is not just to antagonize the ruling party. They are supposed to look out for the public by keeping government excesses in check.

He should sue Moi not the government. The AG should make the case that because it was a totalitarian one party state, only the president should be held liable. The Tax payers did not vote Moi and therefore should not foot the bill.

He was a member of the coalition government not opposition leader. It was supposed to be UKs job to hold coalition govt accountable.

Thank you @Lolest! Quote:For me money looks like a flock of birds. You see, like the ones which are white, they come so many of them and settle down in a place. Then they all fly away and there is nothing.Money is like that. It can come and it can fly away. So when it is coming and when it is there and when you are enjoying, be humble.
