With Kenya sevens faltering this weekend, some fans can take solace in the fact that Mo Farah will have a genuine challenger from Kenya at this years world championships.

Diamond league 2015 started with a loud bang. Justin Gatlin blasted 9.74 in the very first race. No one has ever started this fast to start a season, not even Bolt. He has likely found a new drug regimen that is undetectable and will likely beat Bolt at the 2015 world championships.

On another note, Birech, Sum, Kiplagat each picked up where they left off.

And there is Virginia Nyambura, Kenya's new steeplechase sensation

Kenyans should be prepared for more heartbreak. The Ethiopians have a new long distance queen: Ayana. She ran the 3rd fastest 5000m of all time leaving our Viola Kibiwot far far behind in the 2nd place. The only better times are those of Dibaba & Defar.

Reports of the demise of Ezekiel Kemboi's career was grossly exaggerreated. The man can still run and leap over water jumps. He showed new sensation Jairus Birech how its done.

Yego's throw of 91.39m confirmed as African record and diamond league record

Quote:
He sent his javelin high into the air and it landed well beyond Vesely’s mark but was initially ruled to have fallen outside the sector.

It was up for debate, though, as the sector lines hadn’t been extended beyond 87 metres.

The throw was measured anyway – 91.39m for the record – but after close examination the judges said it was still outside the sector.

Twenty minutes after the meeting ended, with the stands now completely empty, the officials reversed their decision and awarded Yego the victory with his 91.39m throw.

Confirmed as the winning mark, Yego’s performance is not only an African record and IAAF Diamond League record, but it was also the best throw in the world since 2006.

Mo Farah is in panic mode after it was revealed that his coach has been using banned substances!!!

Gatlin seem to be back on diesel, Bolt seem to be avoiding him, Bolt has not run the times he is clocking in 100M since 2012!!!

enyewe Mo Farah is scared or angry - to the point of canceling his appearance at a race in his backyard.

Bolt is over the hill and cannot beat Gatlin who has discovered a new substance. In fact Bolt was at his peak in 2008 and 2009 and has been declining since then.

Most track athletes are at their peak for a period of 3 to 4 years after which they decline.

Gatlin on the other hand is 33 yet he is running faster than he did in his early twenties when he was busted for doping. This is a clear sign that Gatlin is on some kinda undetectable dope. Perhaps microdosing.
