'watu Wa Machakos mnasema mlichagua governor? ako wapi?'....somebody said those words. The people of Machakos know where their governor is unlike my county Africa belongs to Africans.

Increasing the quantity and improving the qualities of inputs in a system doesn't necessarily translate to overall effectiveness or efficiency.
While Mutua may be more conspicuous in terms of the quality and quantity of expenditures, he may not be so different from the other governors in the whole.

Have you really seen what the other governors have done with almost a similar budget? Sometimes its good to appreciate effort and give commendation where due.

Have you really seen what the other governors have done with almost a similar budget? Sometimes its good to appreciate effort and give commendation where due. The key word here is 'sometimes', and the question is; is this such a time? We could be in a situation of praising a team that plays with flair but neither wins the league nor makes it to the champions league. Or an athlete leading in the first few laps in the 10km race only to lose in the final one. The giveaway that this could be applying to Mutua is the move to find jobs for the thousands of youth via a database to be used by prospective companies. What's the county policy for unemployment? How proactive is it? Are youth unemployed because employers don't know they exist, or where to find them?

So are these equipments courtesy of County govt or Central govt? If its true they are by Central govt, then the other governors needs to put politics aside and allow the installations. hata ka it was an emergency and the number was big - but honestly hospitals can afford extra beds, hata ka its doing away with the mca's getting ipads. Kids having to sleep on the floor, na hawana nets - especially after being admitted as a result of a malaria outbreak. source
