There is something called PARALYSIS OF ANALYSIS. It is a disease of the educated middle class. History will not remember you for your IQ. It will remember you for what you did. “Genius is 1 percent inspiration, 99 percent perspiration.” Thomas Edison

If there are Class A and Class B shares, one needs to get full disclosure before sinking a single penny into the investment. It is that simple. No ifs or maybes. At the bare minimum, one needs to know each and every difference. Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

They will give you all sorts of mumbo jumbo all the time running back and forth to consult an equally clueless manager at the back. They will tell you stuff contrary to common knowledge and when you confront them with your version they will run back to the "manager" and come with a different version (from their earlier version - and probably from yours!). Example: You might ask them their target capital. No idea. How much have raised so far? They run to the manager and come tell you they are almost at a billion. You tell them "But I read somewhere you are already at 1.4 Billion". They run back and come tell you "It is 1.2 Billion" bla bla bla! You will leave the place more frustrated than when you walked in! I should start a course on Internal Corporate Communication and charge companies "top dollar" to train their employees. I have noticed that most companies have employees who are totally clueless on something that is in their line of work. Not something that should be handled by another department. Most recently I have dealt with totally clueless employees at Dyer and Blair, KCB, Coop, Kingdom Securities, Unaitas and CMA!!! Last week I was so pissed off! I called CMA, I gave my story then I am told, I think the people you need to talk to are governance and sijui what. I am transferred. Same story bla bla bla. "I think the people you need to talk to are compliance". Transferred. Same story. "I think the people you need to talk to are bla bla bla". Transferred. Transferred like 6 times. Nobody sorted the issue. For Kingdom security I was transferred left, right and centre till I got to the operations manager. She had no idea if I can open a nominee CDS account for a minor or a joint account!! She promised to find out and call me back the next day. Never did!!! Employees who are in charge of opening CDS accounts at the two Coop bank branches I visited have no idea WHAT a nominee account is and it's difference from a joint account and if you must have IDs for both holders of a joint account bla bla bla. Advice? Go to branch x (the nearest) and see if they know!!! I could give the stories for the rest but the post will become a book. Totally pisses me off!!! Never count on making a good sale. Its hard for an employee to have this information infact i dont expect the employees to go peddling this info unless they are authorized. Besides, people buy these shares every day. We just need the clarification on class A and B shares, which is not unique to them, even co-op has this structure and we're still buying. "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. Per their twirra handle there is no classification of Shares. The bonus was only given once in 2013 for those who owned the shared before 2009. All shares are equal "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. The problem is you hope when you should fear & fear when you should hope: - Jesse Livermore .

It is especially annoying when it is something DIRECTLY in their line of work. You go to the guy in charge of accounts opening and he/she has no idea the difference between the different accounts you are supposed to chose from!! What the hell are they doing there!!! During the CFC rights, some confused kid (must have been on attachment or someone's kid) was telling me I cannot apply for additional rights. I can only pay for my allocation and buy the rest off the market. I try to show him the section that says "Additional rights applied for bla bla bla". The kid says NO! They will forward just the money for the allocated rights then the rest they buy off the market! He even quotes for me the "current market price". I almost slapped him. And he is the one IN CHARGE of receiving the forms and cheques!!! Then he asks for assistance, from another bloody kid who doesn't even know what rights are!!! That day, two clueless kids were almost murdered!!! Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Andrew Njiraini Yesterday at 5:49am Am keen to buy shares in unaitas but the shareholding structure worries me. Why do they have class A and class B shares? How come some shareholders get bonus shares and others do not get. This is scary 1Like · Comment · Share Unaitas Hello Andrew. Unaitas does not have two classes of shares. In 2013, there was a bonus issue as an appreciation to founder members who held the shares before the opening of the bond. Thank you. 12 hours ago Ndus Nduskah “I don’t regret the things I’ve done, I regret the things I didn’t do when I had the chance.”
