What do they mean with this statement? Does it mean you can't cash out the shares you hold or plan to buy in the future or are you locked in until they (shares) are floated in the stock exchange. Anybody with a clue.

you can transfer your shares to someone else but can't cash out. Am sure this holds true with 99% of shares. We do need clear info on this class a and b shiznits though. I thought that was a one-time thing and now all shares are equal.

it would be prudent to get enough cash for strong muscles before closing window as opposed to closing window now then have a cash call in two years time...My take. That said...BUY.

Good observation @Boris. They should aim at a minimum of Kshs. 3 Billion! The countries mentioned by CBK have a capital requirement of between Kshs. 2.2 Billion and Kshs. 9 Billion. Assuming CBK raise the requirement for Kenya banks to say Kshs. 5 to 6 Billion, Unaitas had better have atleast half of that so that it would be easier to raise the difference.

So they have a target date but no target amount???
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

According to what is discussed above ,class A have more benefits, like bonuses example is for every one share in class A they are awarded two shares but class B unakaa mkauko. Yaani kuna mapendeleo kwa bibi mkubwa kushinda mdogo.hope this makes you understand

As investors do I have a choice of which shares to buy.?

if you bought before 2009 then you are class *A but since you are 2015 you are class B. Here is the thing the way I see it , your money wont dissappear like they do on pyramid scheme . But come 2018 should it get listed utapata kafaida. I have decided I won't worry about how fortunate class A are than class B . I want to be content with my little class B . If you compare yourself with Bill Gates you will die a very dissatisfied man

Their should be more clear on this, before their take someone money. What about dividends is it the same or Share A got something bigger than Share B.

As far as Unaitas is concerned there is nothing about Class A and Class B shares.

This just came from @BGL regarding the awarding of backdated bonus shares!

Founder Members!!! I hate that phrase (If and when I am not a "founder member". He he he). From my past experience, any time that phrase is uttered - everywhere! - someone is just about to get screwed!!!
