Injuries are inevitable. Luke Shaw had the most injuries for any player this season. Contrast that with the back 4 of Chelsea that played almost all BPL games together. Interesting weekend. City seemed to play just for fun, Arsenal "won" their match, Newcastle looking like they're in serious trouble while Southampton broke records. Business opportunities are like buses, there's always another one coming

I'm still wondering why LvG subbed Rojo for Blackett midway in the second half - the boy has a penchant for mistakes and though the deflected own goal was bad luck, it was still him on the wrong end of it. So 4th place it is it seems, target for the season achieved though Utd could have really done much better. Hopefully no meeting a serious top 4 finisher from the other leagues but I believe by that time Utd will have grown in strength. Nothing more than title contention will be acceptable next season BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

The team will have improved - your house of cards is now falling apart! This fascination with one team makes you forget there are many, many others' in EPL and already a boring bus park won the league. I see no harm with you leaving football commendation to @smano, Mc, kaka2za,Taz, mweza, Ric dees and other objective analysts.

We lost 3 nil yesterday, and played as if we were playing during school lunch. Shameful but expected given we have the title in the bag. I doubt we'll see another title contention finale like the one for the 2011/2012 season with that last gasp Aguerro winner...it was the stuff made of fairy tales. BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

Nothing more than title contention will be acceptable next season With all his experience LvG must still learn to make substitutions. Some of his decision making are very questionable

My take is that if we cant negotiate past those "plucky" teams, then we have no business being in CL proper. Watching Barca v Bayern (first leg) in the CL semis, one got the impression that the CL is not for boys. IF YOU EXPECT ME TO POST ANYTHING POSITIVE ABOUT ASENO, YOU MAY AS WELL SIT ON A PIN

On yesterday’s game, Mourinho is blaming ‘top contenders' for the defeat saying: "I think the top contenders are also guilty because they let us win the title so early." http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/32790497

Watching Barca v Bayern (first leg) in the CL semis, one got the impression that the CL is not for boys. It affects transfers because some players won't sign until a place in the CL proper is secured. This affects team cohesion because late signings miss preseason training. I should know,Arsenal mega deals involving Ozil and Alexis were done after CL qualifiers. Truth forever on the scaffold Wrong forever on the throne (James Russell Rowell)

I totally agree with you on that one - but it would be humiliating beyond imagination not to qualify to the group stages after all the hullabaloo of making 4th place. I look at those losses to Leicester, Westbrom and others in the early days and know that LvG will crack that nut of killing off games next season...
