What is happening this night is to block the 'right turns'. I guess they want to try out the effectiveness of this intervention before the roundabouts are actually cleared out. Eg at Westlands, no more right turn to Sarit. Unaenda kufanya U-turn huko juuu... A needy child's education depends on you. Click here to assist

Ever encountered the chaos caused by vehicles coming from Embakasi trying to crossover to the right and make the u-turn on Mombasa Road?

Nairobi Traffic Commandant Edward Mwamburi said motorists' movement to the Parliament area had to be regulated for security reasons. “We are regulating the flow of traffic in the city especially around the parliament for security reasons,” he said. No vehicles will be allowed to drive on the stretch on Harambee Avenue between Vigilance House and Uhuru Highway. Officers have erected barriers at the junction of Harambee Avenue and Tumbo Avenue, near the Treasury. Movement of vehicles on Parliament Road has also been restricted at the City Hall road and Harambee Avenue junctions. RINK If Obiero did it, Who Am I?
