Unfortunately this is your Kenya.

Kenyans will complain about insecurity, crime, lack of jobs, traffic in Nairobi, poor government services etc etc .

Then come election time they will vote on tribal basis instead of voting on issues like security.

Since the likes of Moi, Kibaki, UK knows that elections are won by building tribal blocs and not by addressing issues facing the people, UK will have no motivation to fix these issues. He will focus on building tribal blocs.

The Kenyan voter has told him that tribal victories that turn Kenyan against Kenyan are more important than security and corruption.

So rather than appoint competent people to address pressing issues, he will focus on appeasing tribes and tribal balancing. So now you end up with tribal appointees in charge of your security.

No wonder Moi once said "Mwafrigha bhure ghabisa"
