Those claming here, that FM cheery picks his opponents and that is why he wants to vacate his Belts, should scoop their eyeballs with a spoon, since it seems their eyes are not being useful to them. He has dismantled challenger after challenger, pressure fighters, punchers, speedsters and any boxer who has stepped kwa ring with him. We will for a long time, never see a boxer like FM. Lastly, FM doesnt give a shit about titles but about cash. Why should he entertain you and die poor?...... To that asocial dude above, keep trying hard :)

Whether a fight will happen or not,is not solely determined by Belts that a champ is holding but also by other factors. These factors are not mutually exclusive. Factors like timing, drawing power, experience, duelling tv Networks, boxing politics and promoters all come into play. To mention one and ignore others is being intellectually dishonest. Claiming further, that Mayweather was forced to enter a fight with pacman is utter bullshit. If he was forced, how comes that this time around, pacman didnt refuse the olympic type blood test? He could have refused that coz that means that Mayweather would have come to the negotiating table already disadvantaged. You know ,an opinion that is made to look like a fact is called a dogma.TBE

Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

@ McReggae - I thought you are among the people who understood boxing and the rules. The boxing organizations name the number one contender who you must fight within a given period - say 9 months. If you want to fight anyone in between, then you can choose who it is. But by the expiration of that time you MUST fight the number one contender or vacate the title. If you have the three belts, you can choose the order in which to defend them thereby delaying the one you don't want by up to 27 months. 2 belts, you have 18 months. One belt, you have only 9 months.

Now let me give you apiece of information you don't have. In December, WBC forced Mayweather to defend his Title against Pacquiao in 9 months. Given that he had two different belts he could delay fighting Pacquiao by upto 18 months by choosing to defend the other belt first! Those 18 months were to expire in June this year. They fought in May - a month to the expiry of the period!!! Mayweather HAD TO fight Pacquiao or vacate the title.

Boss you didn't get me right, I just asked you to tell me the player who is tops and Floyd has avoided. Pacman had to agree to random Olympic type testing, then the fight happened and he schooled Pacman. Pacman has lost 3 out 5 fights since he agreed to these tests. Mayweather is approaching 40 and getting past any boxers prime age, he can't keep fighting forever!!!!

McReggae, the question should not be whether FM is great or not, the question should be how great he is

Mayweather has not retired!!! Mark my words!!!

He was just saying that to market his latest fight. The only reason most people paid to watch the fight was because it was his "last fight".

He will definitely fight next year or 2017 latest.

I will be back to tell you "I told you so!".
