Bumping it up.

Turkanas and Pokots sorry for them but many communities consider them to be still evolving. In fact in certain cultures it is an insult if one calls you a Turkana and Pokot.
This is even manifested in the response by the government and wazuans.

This being a purely security event, without politics, religion etc, it is boring. The other day when I revisited Garissa someone yawned.

Why do they keep fighting? Can they build a wall between them so that it can keep them from each other, like they are doing with Ugus...

Watching the news today, I learnt that the Turkana don't bury their dead if they died of bullet. They are left to be eaten by hyenas.... CTV.

The solution to that perennial conflict can only be found from within spearheaded by respectable elders the old African way.
Politicians think of next election , elders concerned about their legacies.

Kwani how hostile are these regions they keep on being given 3 days, 2 weeks, 1 month never ending ultimatums from different governament bigwings with no action.

JAP fails on the security front YET AGAIN!

got nothing to do with JAP

1) they have been raiding each other as a way of life since back in the day.

2) majority of the dead were the raiders themselves.

3) The hatred between the communities is too much, they actually value animal life than themselves

4) The solution would be to educate these people and develop the area, with good roads, infrastructure etc, these stone age raids will be forgotten.

i.am.back!!!!

If what I read from Standard is true then this is so bad. Worse than even Garissa.

Nadome massacre: Horrors of walking through the valley of death

Quote:
Walking around the ‘horror-scape’, we come across the body of a woman, her child - a toddler strapped with a shuka onto her back - also dead. Apparently, after felling the hapless woman, the heartless warriors went for the throat of the baby, slit it open and separated the tiny body from its even tinier head. It is hard for me to hold back tears.
