It would be nice to have Juve win the CL.

The game between Juve and Madrid was end to end...there's a lot of quality in these semis. Madrid should have been 2-1 up had Rodriguez placed his header lower, instead it cannoned off the woodwork. You could tell Madrid were struggling without the usual formation of Modric and Kroos in the middle and BBC up front, and Bale just coming from injury was ineffective. Sergio Ramos in midfield kept making mistake after mistake as Juve were pressing each ball, Marcelo was caught out several times.

But that away goal could be the killer. I hope the return has Pogba return for Juve and Benzema and Modric back for Madrid, we see a real contest.

Today is undoubtedly the final before the final - I cant call it.But Bayern would definitely be strong with Ribery and Robben who are both out. May the best team over the two legs win.

Their defense was very shaky, but if they have Modric back so that Ramos retains his usual defensive spot then they should be able to outscore Juve. There's a high possibility of the final being a clasico

@Smano.....Modric is definitely out of the return leg at the Bernabeu but Pogba might be available for Juve. The other issue Real have is that they face Valencia this Saturday which means they cannot afford to rest their first team players if they want to keep up with Barca in La Liga. I think the second leg will be even tougher for Real because Juve have a compact defense and they now have a lead to protect, Tevez and Morata also have the ability to easily punish Real's fragile backline if they decide to commit too many players in front.

Tonight's match is pretty straight forward to me, Barca's front three (Messi, Suarez and Neymar) are in top form and appear to be unstoppable. Bayern on the other hand have struggled away from home in the CL this season, the absence of Ribery, Robben and Alaba will definitely be felt by the Visitors.

Do you rem Mou's Inter?

They beat Barca even when all thought they would be out score at Camp Nou.

This is the Real that struggled against Schalke and Atletico.

It's not that clear cut. But of coz we are all, usually partisan in sports.

I hope Barca wins convincingly tonight.

Messi is a God. 3-0 hard on Bayern, they had their moments-Lewandowski has lost the clinical edge he had at Dortmund.

That Barca frontline of Suarez, Neymar & Messi will take some stopping. I hope they go on to lift it.

I think this pretty much sums up Messi's performance last night

Patrick Kluivert (ex-Holland and Barcelona striker): 'He really is from a different Planet #Messi even if u are supporting another team u have to admit this.'

Joey Barton (QPR midfielder): 'In any other era Cristano would be best of his generation. In the Messi-era everyone who has ever played is no.2. Maradona. Cruyff. Pele.'

Charlie Austin (QPR striker): 'Surely there is another word other than professional footballer for messi because he is on a different planet to the rest of us!!!!!!!!'

John Aldridge (former Liverpool striker): 'Folks, it doesn't get much better than that MESSI MAGIC.Feel sorry for our Xabi Alonso though.'

Gary Lineker (former England striker): 'It's such a joy to watch Messi. The greatest!'
Anyone still arguing? He's the Messiah. I should know, I've followed a few.

Alex Scott (England women defender): 'No he didn't...what have my eyes just witnessed #Messi .....wow!!!!!'

Wilfried Zaha (Crystal Palace winger): 'O M G messi!!!'

Ross Barkley (Everton playmaker): 'He's from a different planet. #Messi'

John Hartson (former Wales striker): 'I'm watching a man play Football and he is simply Breathtaking!!!! What planet is Messi on.'

Guy Mowbray (BBC football commentator): 'Going to watch that goal over & over again until I fall asleep. Then again at breakfast. Beautiful, genius, magical #Messi'

You hold a team till 78th minute and then lose 3:0? Poor Guardiola.....can he manage what he did to Porto at the Alianz Arena?

I would have wanted to see a fully fit Bayern to have a chance of a contest. All the same, one Lionel Messi is an extra-terrestrial. He should be banned from football

His second goal? Well, it was an oil-painting of a goal. A thing of such craft and finesse it should be on display in a gallery somewhere, so future generations can view it. It was a goal only he could have scored. It almost came signed.

smile

Btw, Bayern did not get a shot on target....
