Amir Khan is of Pakistani descent so Asia vs America. This match has all angles that could be exploited to yield 2 strong camps for maximum hype. I do no think the American media will be interested in hyping another mayweather fight. They are very negative against him right now. many people are saying they regret wasting money on the fight. Others want their sleep time back. Believe me human beings are fickle and are very easy to entice. I am one of those people who feel cheated of both money and sleep and have vowed never to watch another hyped fight but do not underestimate the creativity that goes into marketing and if they hype it enough I might just be conned again because I now more than ever do not like Mayweather and would like to see someone beat him and am willing to pay him to see him beaten...and there are several million people just as foolish as me... So as you can see Mayweather does not need anybody to like him, whether you love or hate him, you pay to see him fight and he collects..... and for as long as there is an audience the American media, wapende wasipende, will cover it. I believe you when you say many people will watch Mayweather again. But I do not think the American media will be hyping it as much. I doubt these media types can go from trashing the fight to hyping it up again. And I strongly believe interest will be lower this time. Boxing has been a declining sport. The level of interest was low until the MayPac fight. Many fairweather fans watched a boxing match for the 1st time ever last weekend. Many will watch again. But many of thse fairweather fans will not come back to boxing. This is true especially for the young generation who havent the slightest clue about the golden era of boxing.

Like my poor nephew... He was visiting and I had given him stories about thriller in Manila, Rumble in the Jungle etc. etc. I told him, in future when they talk about the Mayweather - Pacquiao, he can tell them he experienced it in real time (and in glorious technicolour!)! Sunday morning I wake up the boy very early in the morning. We settle down to more hype, undercard fight, waiting, more hype... Boy!! Was the fellow disappointed!! We waited for the fight to start proper in round six, wapi! We waited for the last two rounds for some knock out blows, wapi! I can comfortably say he will not be watching another match anytime soon! Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

People still want to watch streets and bar brawls?.....the world moved on, nobody still lights fire by rubbing two pieces of wood against each other!!!! Maywether has dispatched all the brawlers who came up against him, he has beaten all the top fighters of his generation, he is a boxing legend!!!! ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".
