Added up all their votes (1004) and multiplied by 20 bado hawangemake....crazy.

And the kabete by elections should have been JAP entry point and this would have been a massive statement. The JAP officials should not get comfortable not after the disaster in kajiado the only way to gauge its true popularity is a few more by elections particulary in the rift coast and N/E

So true. It was indeed a vote of no confidence in Kabogo. This does not necessarily mean Waititu will take the governorship in 2017. All the Kiambu people want is Kabogo out of office.

Did Kabogo campaign for any of the losers?

The fact that the winner was perceived to be seeking the Mpigship so as to use it as a stepping stone to governorship effectively put Kabogo on the ballot as far as Kabete people are concerned. How do you explain a complete stranger to a constituency winning by such a margin. At least the other candidates have residences and or business interest in the place (the fact that most of them did not register as voters in the constituency notwithstanding).

Disclosure; I would like to see Kabogo far away from the Governors office but I do not think Waititu is the answer. He was not the ideal candidate in Nairobi and neither will he be one in Kiambu. Kwani Kiambu imerogwa?

Kabogo didn't campaign there and the others were non starters in so long as the location and party were concerned!!!
