Yet you cant name one. Get your facts right before you come to payuka in this mighty republic of Wazua. I will name just ONE for your behalf. This incident happened some 3 days ago in the US. Carjacker Pulled a Screaming Woman From Her Car, But a Concealed Carry Permit Holder Heard Her Call
In a grocery store parking lot in Orem, UTAH, on Saturday, a 31-year-old male bystander with a concealed carry permit shot and killed a man who had been trying to steal a woman’s silver Mercedes SUV. As Captain Ned Jackson of the Orem Police Department told Fox 13 Salt Lake City: “Our citizen goes up at gun point, has him get out of the car, the guy gets out of the car,” Jackson said. “The suspect lunged and tried to get the gun from him, so at that point he’s trying to protect himself and shoots the gentleman.” https://www.ijreview.com...-permit-heard-her-call/
Closer to home, during the Westgate attack, there was one civilian who was hailed as a hero because he stepped forward and rescued many who would've been killed by al-shabab. If I listed all the incidents where armed civilians saved the day, Wazua would most likely shut from overloading.

No one deserves to die for drawing a cartoon. Those who went to that cartoon contest knew fully well what could happen to them. They were in effect prepared to die as a testament to all, that there are people who will REFUSE to live under the Sharia Law. Essentially, that is what you're doing. You find nothing wrong with the violence perpetrators but plenty of wrong by people who're exercising their freedoms. It's like vilifying a rape victim for dressing provocatively (which is open to personal interpretation). Since when did people accept that it's OK for non-followers of Islam to be killed based on a cartoon of a pedophile "prophet." Who cares? It's a damn cartoon! Grow up! Usually capital punishment is reserved for murderers. But no, you're fine with people who're exercising their freedom of speech to die because of Islamic sensibilities?! Nonsense!

" A Jewish woman used to revile and disparage the Prophet. A man strangled her until she died, and the Messenger of Allah declared that no recompense was payable for her blood." (Sunan Abu Dawud 4362).
Juxtapose this act of violence to what Jesus did at the Garden of Gethsemane just before he was captured by Roman soldiers.
While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived, accompanied by a large crowd with swords and clubs, who had come from the chief priests and the elders of the people. His betrayer had arranged a sign with them, saying, "The man I shall kiss is the one; arrest him." Immediately he went over to Jesus and said, "Hail, Rabbi!" and he kissed him.
Jesus answered him, "Friend, do what you have come for." Then stepping forward they laid hands on Jesus and arrested him. And behold, one of those who accompanied Jesus put his hand to his sword, drew it, and struck the high priest's servant, cutting off his ear. Then Jesus said, "Put your sword back into its sheath, for all those who take up the sword will perish by the sword. Do you think that I cannot call upon my Father and he will not provide me at this moment with more than twelve legions of angels? But then how would the scriptures be fulfilled which say that it must come to pass in this way?"
At that hour Jesus said to the crowds, "Have you come out as against a robber, with swords and clubs to seize me? Day after day I sat teaching in the temple area, yet you did not arrest me. But all of this has come to pass that the writings of the prophets may be fulfilled." Then all the disciples left him and fled.

The "contest" was in bad taste and the claim that they were ready to die is just hogwash, why did they hire the SWAT team to "protect" them? The woman organizer just wanted to create some controversy to bring about violence, her foolishness has had her banned from the UK,...infact the residents of Garland are appalled by the decision by the Garland School District Board for allowing the event to be hosted in the facility...they're now reviewing their policies. People should learn to be tolerant and coexist. "There are only two emotions in the market, hope & fear. The problem is you hope when you should fear & fear when you should hope: - Jesse Livermore .

I think the drawings of Moha ni uchokozi tu. People need to stop lumping everyone. Here is the deal... You cannot win moderate Muslims to your side by doing these things. It offends all Muslims not just the ones killing people in universities. P.s. I think it's from the Hadiths not the Quran since the Quran should not have the story of Moha. All Mushrooms are edible! Some Mushroom are only edible ONCE!

If only in Africa we had our own homegrown religion unlike the imported Islam and Christianity, we would not care about cartoons wherever.

@Makali A Garissa style terror attack that happens in texas will not be foiled by students because colleges in Texas do not allow weapons on campus. Even bringing a panga to a dorm room can get you expelled from a college in Texas. It is against the law and against most school regulations. What would save them is competent police not private citizens.
And the idea that Kenyans should be allowed to carry concealed weapons is just ludicrous. So now during elections, instead of going after each other with pangas, we would shoot each other? Kenya is deeply divided tribally and now you want to bring guns into the mix?
Plus Kenyans do not have the tradition of responsible gun ownership. You cannot simply transplant the American gun culture to Kenya and expect things to go well.
Even in America, there are dozens of cases of innocent people killed by a licensed gun carrier. Ever heard of Trayvon Martin? Did you read about how Michael Dunn & Jordan Davis? Newspapers are full of stories about licensed gun owners killing their neighbours over petty disputes. And this is the culture you want to bring to Kenya? ....Madness The European model appears far more sensible and yields better results than what is going on Stateside. We need a competent security apparatus. Not irrational people with guns.
