Carlos Alberto Parreira (South Africa coach) “I saw the [Champions League] game against AC Milan [last Tuesday] and what he did on the pitch was amazing, not only his goals but he is in the best form of his life. He has experience. He is very strong and mature. He is doing so well. He made the difference against Milan. With players like Rooney, I really do believe England can win the World Cup this year. England has a better chance to be in the final than they have had in any other competition since they won it.” ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

Radomir Antic (Serbia coach) “Rooney is not just a great player but he has now developed himself into a very influential player as well. I look at him and see a complete player, a comprehensive player, someone who works so hard but then scores the goals that matter as well. He does everything he has to do on the pitch. He will play as the lead striker, drop into the middle to pick up the ball but he will also go out wide to stop the opposition full back coming forward — sacrificing himself for the team. He will do that, do whatever his team needs. That is the mark of a great player. I look at him now and believe he has got over the problems he might have had with his temperament. That is what has helped him become a great player.” ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

Matjaz Kek (Slovenia coach) “He is now in the situation where he can think of himself as being at the same level as [Lionel] Messi and Ronaldo in the top three in the world. He does everything on the pitch so well, so cleverly, and when he plays for England, he brings in everything he has learnt at Manchester United. In this form, Rooney is one of the best players in the world. He makes so many good things for his team and you can see every month he is still growing as a player. He is more dangerous now than he has ever been. He is somebody who makes his team win. That is the best thing you can say about any player — that he is an individual who makes his team into winners.” ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

Pim Verbeek (Australia coach) “Ronaldo and Rooney are different players, of course, but if you look at the goals Rooney is scoring and the great touch he has, he is unbelievable at this moment. He can make the difference. If you want to win the biggest games at the World Cup, you need players in your team who are extra-special, because they make the difference — and Rooney is extra-special. If you look at the big teams — Italy, Spain, Germany, Holland, England, France, Brazil — there is very little between them. But Rooney can make that difference.” ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

Rabah Saâdane (Algeria coach) “When I look at Rooney now, I see a player who is growing day after day, getting better all the time. Now he is at the summit. It is not just the goals he is scoring and the talent he has but he is also at the top of his maturity as a player — and that is what defines a great player. For me he is one of the top two in the world. And if he is not the best yet, then he can become that man and very soon.” ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

@Mcreggea I see all that, point noted however have a look at this. http://www.espnstar.com/...gue-Team-of-the-Week-14/ The greatest danger in times of turbulence is not the turbulence; it is to act with yesterday's logic.

Sasa Arsenal tuko na challenge. Gallas is still injured, and in the words of arseblog.com: I imagine in his absence Sol Campbell will play but we have to hope Gallas recovers soon. There are big gaps between games at the moment but when the fixtures really start to pile up we need him fit and ready. Sol can't do two or three games a week and that means Sylvester and Sylvester causes a browning of underwear across the Arsenal fanbase. Form is temporary, class is permanent

Gap closed!!....But man,was i not horrified by Ramsey's injury?.I really did not enjoy yesterday's win.Word has it that Aaron broke his leg in two places which means the lad will be out for more than a year......Wenger need not badmouth Shawcross as the player's reaction was of shock after the incidence. Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm.

The race gets quite interesting. Chelsea looked a bit ordinary and Arsenal struggled but won a tough match. Me think most teams are over-physical when playing gunners...And Ramsey is that unlucky, such a talent. Its seems the gunners have a chance esp now that their fixtures are not as difficult. When I admire the wonder of a sunset or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in worship of the Creator.

Shawcross may have been remorseful, just as a speeding driver is when he causes an accident. Does not excuse his speeding. Stoke is an over physical team and this was coming from them at some point. Form is temporary, class is permanent

Refer to my earlier post. I wrote Chelsea will struggle with the Key players missing. Only threat to gooners is ManU. Expect ManU to draw a few games. Rooney is also injured.

@Fundamental,was it the same injured Rooney who scored the winning goal in the Carling Cup final? That said, I expect Man Utd to drop some points in the remaining fixtures! Hopefully other teams will do the same. This season it's going down to the wire BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

enyewe that Ramsey injury. I wouldn't wish that on anyone. Chelsea imploded on Saturday, though I found that Belleti penalty rather harsh. I still think Man City would have won 11 vs 11. Things are beginning to look rather interesting. I'd say Man U is the team to beat, but if Arsenal win all their remaining 11 games, they will take the league.
Big, humongous IF though.

By the way Eduardo's injury in 2007 was worse than Ramsey's coz apart from the broken Tibia and Fibula, the guy also dislocated his ankle. If you were to get such an Injury in the KPL, your footballling career would be over. Wish the guy all the best. I was lucky never to have gotten a serious injury during my footballing days on the high scool soccer team. Are we still debating whether Wayne Rooney is the most complete football player this season? MOST COMPLETE are the key words... BEER IS LIVING PROOF THAT GOD LOVES US AND WANTS US TO BE HAPPY!

I gather Ramsey's was a clean fracture, meaning it may heal faster... unconfirmed reports, though... Rooney is playing quite well. I saw somewhere that he may have a sore knee or something. He's key to Man U's challenge right now. Form is temporary, class is permanent
