Be advised that motorists from the city and rhapta road at the westlands roundabout will no longer be allowed to run to westlands but will instead proceed to make as U turn at brookside drive then make their way back to the westlands/citycennter . if you are cominng from westlands seeking to. Proceed and make a upturn near consolata school (shrine). Exiting at chiromo towards riverside drive will be closed. Motorist will be expected to proceed to the mall and exiting using rhapta road towards kileleshwa and yaya.
Motorist from Industrial area using Lusaka road heading towards cbd will also not be allowed to take a right turn at the roundabout near nyayo stadium. They will instead have to drive in the opposite direction and eventually turn on the south c bridge.

At City hall barricade take the right turn at the old nation roundabout (khoja) over the barring traffic from moi avenue through river road or those on tom mboya street wishing to make a upturn back into the city centre.

Changes pave way for replacement of five roundabouts within signalised intersection along Mombasa road - Uhuru highway - Waiyaki Way stretch

50 years after colonial rule, no new public school has been built, no new land for a cemetery has been set aside, no new parks or county social halls, recreation facilities have been made. We still expect to get water passing through the same pipes installed 50 years ago. We have a problem as a people

If Sonko using his "private wealth" can give Kidero nightmares by providing the services Kidero is supposed to provide, and for which he collects parking fees, birth certificate fees, business license fees etc. it shows that Kidero is a very poor leader. He has been in office for 2 years I think, how much time does he need to start doing something, anything?

I know politically this approach is not possible in a city that has people who, after all this time, still want to give Kidero "a chance to govern" Nairobi, but look at how other cities run by human beings like Kidero, not aliens, are planning to run their cities. What do Wazuans think of this?

Quote:
THE public sector is often seen as synonymous with inefficiency, waste and a lack of direction.
Ambitious Harry Black intends to change that, by running a city with the tight professionalism of a private business.
Can it work? Black’s guinea pig is Cincinnati, Ohio, where he will introduce a performance-driven culture that turns traditional governance on its head.
His focus is on outcomes, Backchannel reports, but instead of high profit and good branding, his goals are thriving neighbourhoods, safer streets and sustainability.
Staff will be given targets and expected to deliver to residents, or “customers”. The city will transform into “the go-to destination for people who want to live, work and play in Ohio”, a fountain of work and economic opportunity.

Was watching a documentary on the London sewer system. Was built in 1860, still serves today in its original form. The only major work that's been done to it since is to clean the sewer water emptying into the Thames.

Is the London sewer anything close to the sewerage in Nairobi?
