Does jambojet have their own pilots? or they share with KQ?

Jambo jet doesnt have its own pilots. pilots and engineers work on both KQ flights and JJ FLIGHTS. flight delays are normal the world over we always too hard on KQ you dont expect KQ or JJ ,British airways or Emirates to operate a flight when it has a problems that might comp this is not Congo. The only difference is if your Kq flight is cancelled, they will offer refreshment and based on your fare basis you might get a refund and cancel your trip. With jambo jet its completely low cost and no refunds no frills just that they will fly some passengers on available KQ flights

“Direct flights to the USA was a target for us this financial year. We have had to review our aviation laws in line with recommendations of the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) of America. What is remaining is for Parliament to make the amendments, which I hope will be concluded soon,” Mr Chebungei said.

Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Weh, he is unhappy.
KQ is a mug's game...but his idea of looking at the Arabs for rescue is not all bad. Or maybe the chingchong, though what they know about airlines can probably be written on a dog bone.

Accusations, counter-accusations. Denials. Lame-duck attacks, dossiers, qoutes, misquotes - who is fooling who?

Does KQ really make the cut?

Three major U.S. airlines claim in a recent 55-page dossier sent to U.S. government officials and lawmakers that Gulf carriers received $40 billion in subsidies and want the Obama administration to renegotiate Open Skies agreements

Gulf carriers deny receiving subsidies.

Al Baker challenged the U.S. airlines to publish their allegations and accused them of receiving "backdoor subsidies" through Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The competition is now parked
in Kenya Airways backyard. This
week I was in Dubai and I noted
the Emirates flight was full and
carrying more than 400 passengers. Kenya Airways uplifted less
than 40 passengers on the very
same day. Fourty passengers on
a Dreamliner is a loss! Plain and
simple

From the Emirates website, they dont have any airplane with a capacity of over 400 pax except the Airbus 380.
Now they dont fly such type of airplane into Nairobi.

Emirates equipment on nbo route is 773. Can seat 450 in two class config. BTW 773 can do 500.

China Southern to fly to Nairobi 3x week

http://www.businessdaily.../-/frt8xvz/-/index.html

Does this help or hurt KQ? One can fly daily to Guangzhou since they code-share but it also means some passengers (esp the Chinese) can shift their allegiance to China Southern. Effectively, this will cut into KQ's exclusivity on this route.
