Mombasa’s Ali Hassan Joho and Lamu’s Issa Timamy say the studies will give practical ways to address deal with insecurity.

The two spoke in Mombasa yesterday saying the Technical University of Mombasa was one of them but that religious institution would be roped in.

“We will not allow our youth to be used for terrorism. That is why we have decided to seek research-based solutions to the problems of terrorism and drug abuse,” said Mr Joho.
