Poetic justice prevailed.

Despite retaining a lead through the counting day, Jogi eventually lost Mahasamund in the last round by 1,217 votes, the narrowest defeat in Chhattisgarh.

If you look at the table above, it says "counting in progress".

Link One: What a close shave!!!

Link Two: Competing against 10 namesakes.

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly

interesting

Something similar happened in Kiambaa in 2007. Stanley Githunguri of Kanu was giving Njenga Karume a hard time. Karume tried kila kitu including texting wananchi with news of Githunguri meeting Raila at his Nairobi Safari Club

On elections day, there was a strange name on the ballot. Kanyua Gathunguri. Guy got more than 10k votes without campaigning or setting up posters

But Stanley still won with over 60k votes

This trick we used in campus to deal with tyranny! In this case we just needed a Kamau name on the ballot and trhat delivered us the SG post as the unknown Kamau got more than 1K votes!!!

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly , not painting the beard might actually work - some might disregard the original one with being too young.
