Some siges take longer than that. Google some worlds sieges n see how they were. I smell you want to try debate on who there who where but..... planning and beurocracy are two diff things...am.sure you won't like rushy actions that now will cost more lifes of the security personell. kudos to all forces..we appreciate their work.

Boris I don't need to hear anything from you, I think I have a true picture of what happened even if Anne Kiguta throws a tantrum on TV.

I agree with you, proper planning is required and even necessary.

But don't try to sugar coat this. I'm no security expert but you know as well as I do things could and should have been done better.

May the ones responsible for this mess die from cancer and rot in hell just like the terrorists. I'm sure Boris, that group of fellows will be the only ones annoyed with my comment.smile

Nurses in Garissa have downed their tools and packed. Common sense dictates that one's security comes first ,says the nurses.
So Garissa will be one shit hole after all goverment and ngo workers have left.

Some still see Otieno Ka'jwang' in all these happenings short sightedness!!!!

Both parties of half loaf gava played a role. Once i remarked ubako allowed open border for magendo and laundered/piracy cash for economic growth which it did. Farther said open borders to so many refugees we love ppl for international name whit it didi. Documents forgery came rampant...penetration came rampant...the enemy is deeep within. That mess built up over years will take decadeds to clear

That is why I hate twirra rumours. On the other hand as twirra was "misinforming" about the mode of transport, the true story was being killed at Citizen Studios.

Nkaissarey and Boinet wako na kazi. But I think we have serious people now.

Next time they need to send out info on twirra they should hire Boris. Saves a lot of headaches.

smile am okay with you. the wazua spirit is to share what you have or know...that we did. Each one makes their own judgement and opinion. May the Lord guide us and his will be done. As we talk alot here, those who were praying and committed and died are a veeery happy lot for theirs is the kingdom and eternal life. They no longer will see the sinful suffering world. And i thought the dead who are already dead more fortunate than we the living who are still alive.

You're welcome. Your engagement allows us to do more research and get a clearer picture of things without being called stupid. A cancer that infected PSCU and the hashtag unit a long time ago.

Facts, not lies. We can deal with the facts.

Any Intel officer will tell you for free that Kenya has one of the best police force in the world. They are able to identify most criminal elements but that is as far as it goes.Beyond that it's just a big web of corruption and this is not caused by poor pay because it goes up to the higher ranks. You'll hear an OCS saying why should I forward terrorist X to OCPD n DCIO while they'll just pocket the money, the guy walks free n I probably be dead the next day? I better pocket what he's offering n let him go.Some police units even have some guns stashed away for a rainy day just incase the armoury gatekeeper is paid enough to be away at the hour of need.Intel on groups like AS will always be there but making arrests just doesn't happen. Even groups like Mungiki were exterminated by a task force curved out of the police but not the mainstream police. So I don't expect them to pull the trigger on the AS as long as they have the option of taking the money and walking away in silence. This web of corruption leaves us in a catch 22 coz it breeds fear of reporting to authorities. And also when attacks do happen, the mediocre response by the bureaucrats makes it worse. RIP to all those young souls n our forces that we lost.

Word.from senior intelligence officer- most of those terror attacks and planning are known and reported to relevant authorities. What follows is compromised action ignorance or no action at all. Same officer wondering if we know our weaknesses why invade a lawless Islamic country. Ethiopia has been there longer but no terrorist attacks.

The mediocrity of our internal security has been exposed time and time again by Al Shabab, Mungiki and Pokot cattle rustlers.
Life is short. Live passionately.
