Hope they won't turn out to be heroes like kanyari to Churchill. None should say their community is being finished. Walikula peke yao.

Kenyans at least this# operation mafisi out# should be sustained.

Corruption fight should always start from up there.

Maybe they will join up and form their own party...then fight the President.

Corruption always fights back! Although this time the president is the one holding the cane. Interesting times ahead.

Mr. President we are with you. Nyorosha watu kabisa!!

let the caning begin. He should actually encourage citizens to begin the process of recalling all those implicated elected leaders. Infact some have started demos

Soon the cost of corruption will be so high it will be worthless to make deals (legal fees etc)

Hahaha........Under which law? He set the precedence when he refused to step aside as Deputy Prime Minister and MP. His argument, just like the Gorvernors, was that the Offices were not appointive.

Seriously, how would you expect someone to confirm that?

Its in the papers

Quote:
Ms Keino on Wednesday revealed how she and former EACC Commissioner Jane Onsongo were summoned to a meeting by Solicitor-General Njee Muturi, President Uhuru Kenyatta’s advisor on constitutional matters Abdikadir Mohammed and the chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs, Mr Samuel Chepkong’a and asked to quit.

Quote:
he Nation learnt that Prof Onsongo was also promised a job as Kenya’s deputy ambassador to the USA, based in Washington DC.

Prof Onsongo initially declined the offer but later changed her mind and announced her resignation late Wednesday.

Mr Matemu, was, however, not invited to the meeting. Sources close to Ms Keino said it was not the first time she had been asked to resign

In PD, it is claimed that a gun was placed on the table when asking the two to resign
Smart people

Quote:
The pressure started on Friday through Solicitor General Njee Muturi, Presidential adviser Abdikadir Mohamed and Parliament's Justice and Legal Affairs Committee chairman Samwel Chepkonga

Quote:
Njee spoke with Matemu and the latter reportedly demanded that all the money he had spent fighting court battles to ascend to the position be reimbursed and that he be cleared of any wrongdoing before he quits

Seems like all the governors have been implicated but Seems Isaac Rutto has been framed or is the master eater. He is accused of
1.Irregularly hiring ambulances at a monthly fee of Ksh 650,000 each.
2.Illegally accumulating wealth including 40 earth movers,tippers & graders worth Ksh 400M
3.llegally buying a chopper (helicopter) worth Ksh 300M & a palatial home in Ngong worth Ksh33M.
4.Operating several petrol stations acquired illegally.

Rutto denies he is worth KES 400M

Quote:
To claim that I own a chopper is a bad lie to the public. I can possibly not own a chopper, perhaps, one day I will own one or even a Dreamliner

Quote:
He denied owning a Sh33 million home and asked the commission to show him where it is. On claims that he owns 33 petrol stations, Mr Ruto said nothing could be further from the truth and accused a group of MPs for the allegations against him.

“I don’t own a single gas station and again I invite the commission to help me trace them

Smart people with a very alarmist headline

Quote:
The EACC report was allegedly edited after President Uhuru Kenyatta demanded the names of those implicated in corruption.

Commission chairman Mumo Matemu claimed two top State House officials have been interfering with their work to intimidate officers.

Matemu did not name them when he appeared before the Justice and Legal Affairs Committee over his removal on Thursday.

"I am not under pressure to resign but I am ready to go down for the sake of the country"
