It is different when you give money in a Harambee here and a Harambee there which can be explained by pesa ya kuangukia like this one but the guy has ongoing projects which have been going on for a long time, water tanks, kiosks, school fees and now this ambulance and rescue that require resources yet generate no income which means he must be generating cashflow somewhere to keep them going. Maybe I should have framed the question that way, what is his source of cashflow?

The other way I can explain this is that the activities may not be many in number but he has such good PR to make them look numerous. His rescue services probably have more airtime than Red Cross and St. Johns ambulance combined!!!!

I heard that when sonko gives large sums of money, his team approach you to keep the money in safe custody on your behalf. They ask you to collect the money later but you will never see them again.
