I would be interested in knowing how the T Junctions will be different from those at Yaya, Riverside drive and the one down there near Kileleshwa? They must be different if this has to work. Sometimes the middle class locks each other for hours in those junctions just because no one wants to give way. Everyone is so much in a hurry that breaking for 5seconds is too much to ask, making everyone spend hours there and making Kidero lose 5gms of Weetabix.

removing roundaas will only work where motorists are disciplined like Rwanda where they obey rules even at night

Not even a boda guy will ruka lights there at night

Roundaas or junctions both require discipline. It is however a documented fact that junctions are less efficient (ceteris paribus) and accidents occur more often in them than roundaas. And the accidents that occur in junctions are more severe than in roundaas.

There is a lot of confusion at those junctions I would choose round abouts any day and twice on Sunday!!!

Where possible (space might be an issue) the best way out would be underpasses/overpasses. On my way from Westlands to the Airport, why should a fellow from the CBD to Hurlingham interfere with my movement and vice versa???

It is not T JUNCTIONS guys. They are blocking crossing, and asking motorists to go ahead and use a U-turn hapo mbele.

I am just wondering how they'll do that when it comes the roundabouts between University Way/Uhuru Highway and Uhuru Highway/Lusaka Road. Those will have to be cross junctions, otherwise U-Turn zitakuwa wapi?

I dont know where the u-turns will be placed.
Say u come from Nyayo-Bunyala junction and realized you had to go back to that Nakumatt at Nyayo rounda...Ukifika Uhuru-Selassie 1 junction u cant make a turn...u r forced to endelea mbele hadi Nyayo house-Kenyatta junction, hapo pia hakuna u-turn...what to do now? Then u decide to meander-meander huko NSSF/Community area through upperhill sijui Rahimtullah plaza and come back to Nyayo stadium and then head to Nakumatt a very frustrated Nairobian!
