Nairobi cannot be run by politicians. Its needs an executive with no political leanings.

My thinking is that most positions in government should be occupied by people who do not have a family. People who have dedicated themselves to serve the nation and its children as hers or his.

For before Kidero was elected, what had he said he would do for Nairobi? Or are we expecting him to deliver some things he did not promise.

And we also knew what he had done to Mumias and what he was likely to do to Nairobi.

May be we should organize inter denominational prayers for the voters before we deal with the so called leaders. WE are the genesis of most of these problems!!!

Laughing out loudly Laughing out loudly who is this guy who is not a politician yet runs for a political seat?

The moment your name is on the ballot, you are a politician.

BTW, this thing of manager vs politician was bandied around during last elections. So we went for corporate/public sector big boys like Kidero, Roba, Mutua, Kinuthia, Lusaka, Ndathi, Wa Iria with mixed results

Those who went for 'politicians' like Kabogo, Joho,Ruto also have mixed results

2017 will be TOO LATE!!! Kidero needs to be impeached NOW!!!!

Quote:
During the PAC hearings, it was revealed that Sh70 million was moved from Nairobi County Emergency Fund account through Citi Bank to unknown recipients on September 9, 2014.
A further Sh6 million was transferred to separate accounts in a similar manner.

Quote:
On Friday, Mrs Ndegwa denied claims of misuse of the funds, saying that the money was sent from the emergency account at National Bank to a revenue account at Cooperative Bank ‘‘to pay for other matters’’.

Quote:
Mrs Ndegwa confirmed that she was a signatory to the account but could not recall the purpose of the transfers.

Ask @Njung'e how Kidero operates and you can see things more clearly!
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

I would like to urge every citizen residing in Nairobi to pay county dues for enhanced services. It is especially wrong for the Karen and Langata District Association to delude the residents of the area that they are not eligible to pay rates. It is also morally wrong for the residents of the opulent Karengata area to expect the less financially endowed segment of city population to pay for services in the Karengata area.
Over the years Karengata Association has incited its members against paying county government rates, leaving the burden to be carried by areas such as Eastlands which faithfully pay their rates and other dues. This must stop!!
The High Court in its recent judgement delivered on 21st September, 2015 ordered the residents to pay all dues directly to the Nairobi City County government since the County government is providing services to citizens, something which was lacking during the council days when the order not to pay to the City Council was passed. The judgement observed that the Karengata District Association was relying on the repealed 1963 Constitution and the repealed Local Government Act. Since the ruling by Justice Odunga stands, the county government will not hesitate to take stern enforcement measures against those property owners who fail to pay their due rates to the county government.

No wonder there was a rush to live in Karen/Langata.....ai...lipeni ushuru
