Use satstar.net or satbeams.com to guide you on the appropriate dish size for your location. If using satstar, be sure to set your location first. It'll even give you a list of 'beams' receivable at your location if you so want. For Nilesat, being fringe reception, you'll need to invest in the absolute best quality of LNB, cable as well as an appropriate dish size. Ordinarily, you'll nab Nilesats at the position where your dish is (almost) totally vertical. If you wish to get a good quality satellite meter, your best bet is to import. I got my SatLink 6918-P via AliExpress back in 2013. thanks Rankz for the tips. am using stargold sg900. which could be the best although a tech told me sg900 is enough. satstar says Mombasa is not covered but might be receivable but I know everyone in Mombasa watches nilesat.

Stargold Fuji SG900 (single) and SG920 (quad) are ok for primefocus dish. For offset dish, Inverto, Samson or Eurostar ESKD QP4 Gold are recommended. What dish size and type are you using? Ensure that the lnb is at the focal point rather than being offset as with multi-LNB set-ups. Also make sure your western sky is clear of all obstacles in the form of tall trees an/or buildings. Use the computer app Gorb track to figure out if such an ostacle will have any effect on your set up. http://members.chello.nl...y.walda/GorbTrack_EN.htmLife is like playing a violin solo in public and learning the instrument as one goes on.

Breathe in...breathe out...there you are. sasa uliza swali na nitakujibu. @shadowinvestor.... plz don't dare as this is a very addictive sickness. I have been spending 1.5 hrs at night moving here & there changing positions & blind scanning... the moment you start it you feel you can nail something hence you go again and change position but nothing comes out and you redo the same process again & by the time you look at the watch its midnight. @rankaz.. pls assist cant nab 7e but can get amos 17e & ses5. on jamii they r talking of combining 7e & ses5 on the same LNB but this is not coming..

Firstly, ensure where your dish is positioned is horizontally true. Use spirit level (app) to confirm it's totally flat. Ensure, too, that the reflective surface of your dish is a smooth curve with absolutely no dents or other surface imperfections. To nab 7E, start with MBC Mauritius tp on the African beam and maximize that. Don't believe what everyone says till you've tried it. I myself receive 7E and 5E on two different but adjacent LNBs. Seeing as you are quite far outside the official beam coverage map, chances are only a bigger dish will do the magic. Look up a guy called msondaa on jamiiforums.
