UTAWALA, 50 by 100 plot

The purpoted owner of the plot is an old grandmama who is selling the said plot to seek eye treatment.The plot is sold at a throw away price of 450k.I viewed the plot and it is a 50ft by 100ft piece.My reservation is that some beacons are not visible but the broker who claims to be a pastor says they were uprooted by some people who were digging up the area in search of sand.He says i will verify the authencity of the plot through a map from the chief's offfice,even the beacons.My heart is into it though the plot is at the edge near a small river,about 7m from the river.The plot is at appproximately 1km from the bypasss bisecting Kangundo road and 100m from a feeder road which has been earmarked by the chinese for tarmacking.The feeder road leads to the Chinese built primary school which willl be operational by the end of the year.What does wazuerians have to say about this.

i suggest you have to engage alot of due diligence before commiting your money here. our sacco bought tracks of land here which it later subdivided. but before the the buy process was over, the same owner tried to resell the same land, with different identities. this became a police case, but was sorted out later and the rightful owners given their what was rightfully theirs. my suggestion is there is a section of CID officers specifically dealing with land buying and sales issues. this has aarisen purely from conmanship that has existed for years now. i dont have the details but just ring the CID headquarters and you will get all the assistance. their mandate is to secretly determine the rightful owners of the plots/ lands and aid in the trasfer process. they are just a phone call away.

It looks like a good offer too. But first verify the ownership with the authirities before committing your funds.

Mwala, the guys could be as clean as angels. BUT in Ruiru recently, the same tired story using a grandma, pastor, medical biils, advocate and broker has been replicated so many times its unreal. KU has a catalogue of conned lecturers, yes, it's unbeliveable.

cashing on Stolen Identity in Kenya is the next big frontier in fraud. Can u establish who this grandma queen is? is she known around ? for how long? By who? her pawns? From whom did she buy the land ? Where are her kids?

Like adviced elsewhere, DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE constars. Seek help from CID, formally that is. Otherwise everybody is guilty unless proven innocent, The flip side is that i once bought a plot without even verifying the share cert, and it ended well, buts thats me. Good luck

i wouldn't get fooled by the shosho/guka types. I've encountered my share of these elderly conmen/women. Doesn't matter if she's selling the plot to go to hosi, it's not ur problem.
