There is a common power hungry denominator to most major acts of violence in Kenya so "quit trying to whitewash history because we keep repeating the same mistakes."

Achana na those thievery lines kijana, you may type all the long posts, one day we should share a table with you, Raila won in 2007, Uhuru did not get 50%+1 in 2013....it does help to keep arguing about it all the time as it will not change what the diehards from either sides think, the reason I always try to keep off, in the mean time, danganya toto jinga!!!! ..."Wewe ni mtu mdogo sana....na mwenye amekuandika pia ni mtu mdogo sana!".

The unfortunate thing about Kenyan politics is that the president is picked in a private members club long before we vote. It doesn't matter if and how we vote. And whether the stronghold is in Tharaka Nithi or Wajir. The candidate picked by "wenye Kenya" takes it. Unfortunately, they did not pick baba in 2007 and 2013. Lets see if they will pick him in 2017. Lord, thank you!

Whether Raila got 60% of the votes cast in 2007 or not the president had been decided before the elections, same to 2013, that's where the madimoni statement emanated and they shafted Messi. Elections in Kenya is necessary formality exercise and a way of showing the west that we are 'democratic'.

All the parties pick their pork candidates in some boardroom deal, to that extent you are right. How a candidate fronted by some fat cats ends up winning instead of another is an entirely different matter, really

Hahaha..don't bother vote anymore ...if you really believe that votes don't count They count (sometimes) for that MCA, MP, Governor. For the president, it rubber stamps a decision that has been made. the cliche statement "Kenya iko na wenyewe" is real. Lord, thank you!
