Apple made a net profit of 37.04B USD in 2013 against Samsung ELECTRONIS' 30.48B USD. Samsung Electronics is a member of the larger Chaebol, Samsung Group which consists of other subsidiaries involved in shipbuilding, insurance, financials,construction,health etc etc.
