Babu should not apologise. As age catches up one, one is bound or may lose memory and not recall who the mothers are or what they are referring to and sometimes words may involuntarily escape one's mouth. Let us just move on.

now if raila had said that the person had stupid genes, would it had been worse as it would be an insult to parents and grand parents and great grand parents... going all the way to the original couple?

Those are the types of comments that make us realize that bado mapambano about these prejudices.It does not take a genius to know they not coming from a place of respect whether said in Dholuo or Mexican.They are derogatory.
These images shape thinking, and by extension,how people act towards and treat women and this is why these types of outdated prouncements and comparisons should not encouraged or justified regardless of who uses them.
