Conceptual Design
From Westlands New Shopping Centre

1.0 INTRODUCTION

‘The Flower Bud’ will be a unique blend of offices and residential units located in Westlands, off Waiyaki Way along Musa Gitau Road.
This area is suitable for high end residential and corporate offices such as the new Deloitte and Touche corporate offices along Musa Gitau road .
The unique design is inspired from a flower bud, signifying new life and natural beauty.

2.0 THE SITE

The site is located less than 1 km from Waiyaki Way along Musa Gitau road.
The site is less tan 2 minute drive from the prestigious Westlands Shopping Centre where all social amenities can be found.
The prestigious Deloitte and Touche offices are also located along Musa Gitau Road.

Looks like to appreciate the 'flower bud' you will have to live atop the building i.e so as to see the 'petals' below?

At the top there will be a restaurant where someone can appreciate the 'petals' below.

First time av seen something in Nairobi, that looks architectural, not just a square building, with no creativity in it. This looks like something new.. waiting to see how it goes..

Expected date of completion?

Only problem - that Musa Gitau road needs to be expanded if its gonna carry any meaningful traffic, and needs some tarmacking.

@ Mkimwa..thanks... Completion date -dec 2010. Tru.. the road needs expansion and tarmac towards the end..

@a4arch . i agree with modestone. u seem to be very conversant with building sector. once i make up my mind on whether to take a mortgage or build i will come to u for the architectural plan of the house and building advice..i hope your charges are fair.
