Anyone who went to moi university should not pretend to be shocked.

Our RV brothers sense of entitlement was messed up by 24 years of nyayo error. The university is located in their home turf so naturally its theirs. They believe the VC, DVC and all HoDs should be homeboys.

You have seen it in the jubilee appointments. UMK is trying to throw an appointment here and there (ngilu, balala, olelenku) but for the other side.....

Way forward; leave the university to them. Entire admin, lecturers and students exclusively from the local community. They can even translate teaching materials to the local language. National govt can cut funding and let the local county govts fund "their" university. Let the graduates be employed in those counties and at kass fm.

And while at it, their leaders should let us know their plans to ensure they are getting their fare share of corpses at the MTRH morgue, and prisoners at the Ngeria prison, and beggers on the streets of Eld.

2022 here we come.

Word..interesting to note that even all the admin and teaching staff in the Nairobi Campus are all from the said community...

The bone of contention was promotion of academic staff. Guys from the local community wanted affirmative action.
The issue of casual staff was a diversionary redherring.

JAP or not there is no way WSR will get votes in 2022 with the community's ingrained sense of entitlement.

How come nobody complains that there are too many outsiders in JKUAT, KU and UON Kikuyu campus that are all in Kiambu county?

Prove your point, give us the top ranks from there. Start with these:
Dedan Kimathi University of Technology
Chuka University
Kisii University
Murang'a University College

Then move to these:
University of Nairobi
Kenyatta University
JKUAT
Maseno University
Egerton University
Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology

At alpha you are just throwing mad for no apparent reason, a casual look at UON shows the lake, JKUAT and KU shows chickens, mountaneers don't venture in low paying jobs kama hizo, they better sell cabbages and get instant cash!
BTW how do you sell your farm produce through broker or direct to market?
