Really? By even though, at the end of the day, does it really matter who completes it. The focus should be on the net effect to the Kenyans. Regardless of who is in power, Kenyans' needs remains constant. Affordable energy is one of them. If you remember when Vision 2030 was being launched, there was a deliberate effort to institutionalize the policies so that whichever govt comes into power they will continue investing in those sectors. In fact, the danger would have been Uhuruto coming into power and abandoning the Geothermal projects simply because they were a Kibaki project. The constitution only gives a limited time when one can be in power, thus continuity in govt projects should be a plus rather than an "Even worse" thing.

@imp, Argentina experiences winter, and peak demand for household/user determines the load and ultimately the required generation capacity. @ Maji the % was 15% last time I checked, but even then, whereas over 50% in Argentina require electricity to heat their houses mainly, over 50% in kenya just need electricity for lighting at night, something we could do with solar.
