Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.

Ever wondered why there are no people walking in European countries. If you factor in the man power lost when the most of the human resource are walking to their work place verses what would have been contributed to the economy - with the difference we would have generated more income- thus more tax - thus better road. ....He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion..

This govt is just lazy. Can't they devise ways to widen the tax base? It's always the easy channels; fuel, beer, cigarettes, PAYE,CGT e.t.c while we have guys in Muthurwa, Gikomba et al making tens of millions and going untaxed. KIPPRA, IPAR and other think tanks are proving to be just that...empty tanks.

At this rate, I'll have to divest from Kenya way much earlier than planned.By 2020 the taxes they're introducing now could have a 30% rate if the economy will not have caved in or some economic sense gotten into their heads.

I saw this regime from a far and now its clear. The irony is during kefake era road maintenance was very good, that was just 2yrs ago. and the levy at 6.00 shs. right now there are so many potholes, road maintenance is slow and poor. I'm sure even if they increase the levy they'll be no significant change. they are just STEALING from us left, right and centre. It's very SAD The investor's chief problem - and even his worst enemy - is likely to be himself

This thing will bite back in future if oil prices spike whether KE will be an oil producer or not. Unless gok is very sure oil prices will dip in the long run, they're playing with dynamite thinking it's sand as per IMF's direction $15/barrel oil... The commodities lehman moment arrives as well as Sovereign debt volcano!

There are some people who will not complain because they feel some sort if affiliation to the people in power. But that is the most stupid thing to do because these policies affect us as Kenyans not as tribes, political parties, clans and all that other nonsense. Hakuna Fuel Station za CORD, Jubilee, Masai, Luo, Kamba, Kikuyu, Kuria, Middle class, hustlers, masufferer etc. Kikiumana kimeumana. And that applies to most of the other policies. Unlike Obama who increases taxes for some and reduces it for the others (low income earners) in Kenya there are no winners. Only losers. VAT on fuel is the worst. Everyone will be negatively affected. Jubilee has made my life worse! They are too quick to take food off my plate which they didn't help cook. Their policies and programs should help me make Kshs. x more then they can come and say they want a fraction of that x!
