I don't begrudge anyone who stashes THEIR money in some foreign account so long as the money was obtained legally. If Muthama sells his gemstones and feels like stashing his money in a foreign account, what the hell, it his money. He is not a charitable organization. If he hasn't broken the law, let him be. If he has, he should be dealt with according to the law.
What I have a problem is corrupt politicians and public officials embezzling public money and stashing the same in foreign accounts. And the actual crime here is embezzling/corruption not having money in a foreign account.
Never count on making a good sale. Have the purchase price be so attractive that even a mediocre sale gives good returns.
