Hmmm.... So, VVS/ Mukiha, please enlighten me... What was the magnitude of openview's loss both for last year and the year before, and would you say it can be fixed? Or did this guy buy into a dead thing?

And, if AK are selling internet access, by them not having an up to date website, what are they really saying?

Lucy Muthoni Njoroge always looked like a woman on a mission. She founded the company and was always the face during the tremendous growth. Surprising what enterprenual women achieve considering she was not a techie, had a BEd (later completing her MBA).

Only heard of her husband in OpenView after the merger. She left and took her customer focussed business approach to found X&R. Judging by what I'd seen previously, I'd bet on another success.

Have tried to google up more info on this but currently not too much online. Infact a google search for "Lucy Muthoni Njoroge" gets wazua as the top link! Inakaa wazuzu is frequently crawled by google...

@anasazi perhaps you should try Lucy Njoroge.
@gathinga just one man's view having looked at the company from afar for awhile, chatted to some old staff, and one of their largest clients.

I spoke to a senior manager at AK over the weekend and he was very optimistic about the synergy represented by OpenView.... But he didn't sound knowledgeable about the high price paid for the company

For the 200mn they paid the njoroges (incl his salary+perks for 2 years), AK could have developed those synergies in-house with much less drama!
