Public university campuses are very large and students spend too much time traversing from corner to the next. In the early 1990s, Moi U medic students used to get free bicycles to ride between hostels and lecture halls! A shuttle bus service will be a welcome relief.

The shuttles are not for ferrying students within the campus but for ferrying students from the university to town and vice versa rather than the students using the public means.
