A bruising battle ahead. The first runners-up in JAP nomination defects to ODM where he was received by ODM SG. He lost nomination by less than 400 votes.

We await Wednesday, he would be the best to challenge the JAP guy but what about all those who have been loyal to ODM? There will be consequences.

It's a clever move by ODM but i don't think it will alter the expected outcome, Nkaiserry who also comes from the same Matapato clan will definitely through his support behind the JAP candidate. Btw some of those who voted for Kanchori in the nominations are not necessarily ODM supporters.

I agree but at this point ODM will be a hard sell in the area especially after most (if not all) party officials defected to Jubilee. Btw Tutui also comes from the populous Matapato clan.

So over 23k voters out of total 39k in the constituency turned up. Technically cold is minus 1 seat eh?
could be but some lessons from central kenya. In the Kanu days some nominations for Kanu would have huge turnout then on main election they would vote for DP/ford asili

Kinda reminds me of something I noted during the last election Kajiado South's presidential results were
Raila: 17,500
Uhuru Kenyatta: 24,000

Precise numbers like those don't exist in Nature!! you cannot randomly gather 24,000 people for one person and 17,500 people for another!

You learnt nearest .... blah blah number in school

yeah... that only exists in school. zeros don't exist in nature
