i noticed the more you exercise as certain section of the body e.g legs, arms the more they loose their fat and gain muscles.
so i decided to do the same with my tummy. focus more on my abs, on a daily basis and see how that goes.
Muscle begets muscle. ie Muscle tears(by training), and on recovery more muscle is made.
Yes, your abs may form, but there's no guarantee you'll see them, because of the fat cover. Cardio=burn fat.
And if you train for more than hour=cortisol. Cortisol 'eats' muscle. Self defeating.
Also remember muscle (eg abs) is made while sleeping (recovery)
