Just to update you on the IEBC summons. The petitioner argues that in 2012 ODM conducted an illegality by nominating the late Senator Gerald Otieno Kajwang while he was still a serving Minister. Consequently, he wants ODM barred from nominating a candidate in this by-election as per section 72(2) of the Elections Act. He has listed Francis Kimemia as a witness and ODM as the respondent. The petition has absolutely nothing to do with the current nomination process. For those speculating that I am not a registered voter, I am sorry to disappoint you.
