First post. Hello, all, and happy new year.

I would not go so far as to insult Boniface Mwangi, but I have to say I disagree with his methods. There are much better ways to do some of these things. I am particularly disappointed by the way he handled the show with Larry Madowo, which seems to be the way he and his cohorts handle every single show they are invited to - shouting people down the minute a valid point seems like it will rear its head. Yes, the land was grabbed, and that should not have happened. It needs to be returned to the school and the grabber should face the long (or, in Kenya, selective) arm of the law. Yes, it was VERY WRONG to teargas innocent children.

But Boniface should also be held responsible for what he has done. He says the children went to the field to play at break time. He denies that there were protests. He denies using the children. How convenient that he just happened to have a few kid-sized placards for them to hold out.

Perhaps I am biased. I have just never agreed with his creepy methods that seem to always involve gory artifacts - and that always end with him shouting everybody down on TV afterwards.

Sad that my first post is a) an epistle and b) something that is likely to be met with hostility... but oh, well. Good morning and happy Tuesday!

@Waruguru welcome to the republic! Boniface mwangi is bold I believe because of his acts the grabbers will know it is not business as usual.

@ KIKi Civility is not only discerning right from wrong but also respectfully disagreeing but nonethethless accepting that both positions are relative from person to person

I wish I saw or I could watch the theatrics as I glean from contributors.

Decorum my foot! The said MP sits in the lands committee and the said piece of land was fenced off last year december where has he and the committee members been all this time to solve the issue which is well known to the public as grabbed land.
Big Up Boniface Mwangi for shouting him down

all he wanted was international publicity and he got it irrespective of the dangers he is putting those kids in. I would want to know if his 3 kids were there?
