you are just as guilty as those you chastise sio? the same reasons that 'someone else' is not you are the same reasons 'most kenyans' who agree would invoke.

First post. Hello, all, and happy new year.

I would not go so far as to insult Boniface Mwangi, but I have to say I disagree with his methods. There are much better ways to do some of these things. I am particularly disappointed by the way he handled the show with Larry Madowo, which seems to be the way he and his cohorts handle every single show they are invited to - shouting people down the minute a valid point seems like it will rear its head. Yes, the land was grabbed, and that should not have happened. It needs to be returned to the school and the grabber should face the long (or, in Kenya, selective) arm of the law. Yes, it was VERY WRONG to teargas innocent children.

But Boniface should also be held responsible for what he has done. He says the children went to the field to play at break time. He denies that there were protests. He denies using the children. How convenient that he just happened to have a few kid-sized placards for them to hold out.

Perhaps I am biased. I have just never agreed with his creepy methods that seem to always involve gory artifacts - and that always end with him shouting everybody down on TV afterwards.

Sad that my first post is a) an epistle and b) something that is likely to be met with hostility... but oh, well. Good morning and happy Tuesday!

Welcome @waruguru. All other matters aside, I cannot bear the lack of decorum in such debates.
What truth are they so afraid of, that an opposing panelist can't be accorded a quiet moment to say their piece?

The guys language both body and words are foul.He is immature to say the least and has an inflated opinion about himself.

Who does he think he is fooling when he says there were no protests? And No children were used yet we saw them pushing that wall.
His good acts of occupying the grounds fade away in the method used.Using Children.

And he seems to have beef with Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta. He derogatively punctuates his every sentence with his name.
Unfortunately Larry (NTV) seem to cherish him as a guest.

Cant a panelist or guest be ejected from studio if/when they become a nuisance...... or show stopped completely and news continues....

Did not see the interview and Mwangi needs to read his protesters manual again. That said,he has achieved what protests are meant to achieve--Make us all uncomfortable with the status quo.

Many mistakes all around including his involving children, but the throwing of the gas canisters should never have happened around a school period. The state (represented by the police) should take the high ground in these kinds of situations.
