There is a load of crap coming out here from some posters. The issue of the actual land ownership is rightfully in court. Like all land grabbing, it knows no political affiliation. If the likes of McR* and that other guy were honest, the same anger would extend to how CORD County government officials may have been involved. Use of tear gas on children cannot have been the best way to disperse the crowd neither can the use of toddlers in activism be the way forward, whether you like it not. The IG of Police or designate should swiftly act on this matter.

The Acting Inspector General has said the senior officer who led the Langata Rd operation has been suspended.

He has also condemned the use of school children in demonstrations.

McReaggae sanitize what? i'm sure they too get tired of promoting incompetence day in and day out.

Gassing children is a new low in this country.

Those who have been tear gassed know its no laughing matter. Now imagine doing it in a primary school. How can someone do that? How can someone order that? How can anyone with common sense support that?

Just watch this video.

That canister was thrown right at the feet of these children.

Shameful Lakini this gov't doesn't want to stop amazing me.

Just look at these terrified children. All because of a kabroti.

I salute the children.

They are strong on so many fronts.

What is he saying. That children should never demonstrate? Which law is that one?

Those kids are heros in my eyes. The tore down that wall and now Ngilu says that the property belongs to them.

By the way. Has he checked the status of the innocent harmless children that his officers tear gassed?

We have to be a bit serious here.

Gassing children is not a story to sweep under the carpet. Accept and move on won't cut it this time.

We have seen and I personally I'm horrified that state machinery can be used to protect a property that their own Cabinet Secretary admits they own.

God Bless these children for standing up to the tyranny of tear gas.

Sometimes commenting on gov't issues can be tiring. Lakini leo Kenya tumejaribu.

I still can't believe that anyone can even try to twist this story ati blaming the kids.

They are children godamnit. Protect them and arrest Boniface if you have to.

But teargas? A child? I'm traumatised watching these images.

I'm still wondering.

After they teargassed these children, did they do anything to help the obviously traumatised terrorist children?

Any first aid? Do the police even know how many of these children are safe and sound with their parents?

Ama its fair game to throw a tear gas canister at a 13yr old?

Anyone know how many of these kids have been helped, lost or just plain terrified?

This is shocking to say the least. As a parent, take a look at your kid and tell me how you would feel if you learned that your child was gassed for screaming HAKI YETU.
