Why was the market closed?

There is a plot by the governor to relocate the market to its previously planned location, about 2km from the garissa road. The proposed market is currently a bush with no amenities, its basically a kichaka. The market will then be used as a bus station- what it was initially constructed for. This is to create space and unclog the entrande to the nearly completed nanasi mall. Shida iko hapa sasa, the market serves as a distribution centre for goods to be transited to matuu, mwingi, up to garissa.the kind of cash that changes hands iko juu sana.
The selfish owners of nanasi mall have even alteredcthe Garissa road, using part of the road as an inlet to their mall.i dont know who approved this! This is height of impunity na sii huyu wa wazua.in addition, this market serves the whole of makongeni area and shifting it would affect a larger population in the area. Interests of a few should not trample on the masses. By the way the bearded one is usually seen around the mall, so we can guess on whose pushing for all this.

@Rankaz13 I totally agree with your sentiments. All that violence could have been avoided had all the leaders sat down and agreed on the way forward
