There was the shell fuel challenge over the weekend.
The winner was the one who used least fuel to Naivasha and Back.
So the winner used 3.32 litres from Nairobi to Naivasha and back a distance of about 180Kilometres.

Is that even possible?

This is an annual Economy Run event that is held by the Alfa Romeo Owners Club and those are generally the figures........if only people could drive "properly"

A small car like that one itaweza kweli on a highway?

Maybe when stuck in Nairobi traffic but on safari I believe it will be thirsty.

if you start racing with the pajeros on the highway then it will consume an abnormal amount of fuel - lakini if your ego is not centered on car sizes and being overtaken then that ka small engine will give you very good returns even on long distances -and well, in kenya we have very few highways and in most cases even for the long distances there are lots of slowing and accelerating that it just feels like a monstrous urban drive smile

I love the TIGUAN. Just the looks though.

Economical on fuel, right? How about service? How much do you pay to replace
Engine?
Gear box?
Suspensions?
Head lights?
side Mirrors, windscreen?

As compared to its competition?

The local VW dealer is still cmc, right? Youre better off shipping in the spares yourself.

Boss if you need to replace all that then you are better off not having a car. Weka kwa mawe ulishe kuku ndani. You will be happier.

Which lights? Be specific unless you bought a lemon. That car is more fuel efficient than a 1000cc vitz. Only known issue is the DSG gear box failing.which is not unique to the touran but affects all VW and Audi's fitted with DSG gear box.

The actual word is unreliable. Dash warning lights include but not limited to traction control (ESP), Check engine and airbags.

I've read the same reviews on the net, it may not be reliable but in terms of fuel efficiency it wins hands down without compromising performance. Funny thing I do not see as many negative reviews on the golf variant that shares the same platform.

First step is to always check the yellow connectors under the front seats. Comes off very easily and is very annoying.

If they are ok, then you need to VAG your car. In any case, the airbags will still deploy in case of need.
